Maerlin Limited introduced the concept of Conductor Supported Platforms (CSP) to the Nigerian market, resulting in our successfully designing, building, and installing 3 platforms in the Gulf of Guinea.
For SAPETRO in SEME field and most recently 2 platforms for FIRST E&P (OML83 & OML85) which are both installed and seamlessly operational in their Anyala and Madu Fields.
Offshore Structures
We are also well versed in conducting detailed platform integrity investigations for clients strengthened by our consultant having been employed by MPN for 12 years as Marine Adviser working with the Nigerian Projects (NPO) managing the maintenance of both the production platforms and marine operations which included producing anchor patterns and vessel position drawings in relation to sub-sea pipelines. This led to the creation of what became MPNs “Field Location Tool Kit”.
In 2015 Maerlin/Aquaterra also received initial confirmation from MPN to construct a platform for its shallow water Nigeria operations after undergoing an exhaustive 3 day technical evaluation commissioned by Exxon Mobil with its worldwide Engineers in attendance.
